wear your war paint

whether it’s makeup, a band tshirt, your fandom pins, tattoos, jewelry, your favorite ripped pair of jeans, or something no one else can touch or see like your favorite song repeating like a mantra in your head, the sound of your own heartbeat, or the knowledge that you were brave enough to get out of bed today when everything else inside you said “no”

wear your war paint and kick ass

And so, I asked myself: in what country was there a place for
men like me - men who refused to say 'yes' to the parasites
and the doubters, men who believed that work was sacred and property rights inviolate. And then one day, the happy answer came
to me, my friends:

"After a while, all the visits with nutritionists and 4 a.m gym workouts just put you on autopilot. I had to train in krav maga, this fighting style where you learn how to do things like kill an opponent with an espresso cup. But when you see the payoff onscreen , it’s totally worth it.”

Comet
[kom-it]
Noun, Astronomy

A celestial body moving about the sun, usually in a highly eccentric orbit, consisting of a central mass surrounded by an envelope of dust and gas that may form a tail that streams away from the sun.

The path of a comet can be in the form of an ellipse or a hyperbola. If it follows a hyperbolic path, it enters the solar system once and then leaves forever. If its path is an ellipse, it stays in orbit around the sun.

Some comets meet a more spectacular end – either falling into the Sun or smashing into a planet or other body.

Note : Comets were once believed to be omens, and their appearances in the sky were greatly feared or welcomed.

"A hundred years from now, people will look back at us and laugh. They’ll say, ‘You know what people used to believe? They believed in photons and electrons. Can you imagine anything so silly?’ They’ll have a good laugh, because by then there will be newer and better fantasies…And meanwhile, you feel the way the boat moves? That’s the sea. That’s real. You smell the salt in the air? You feel the sunlight on your skin? That’s all real. You see all of us together? That’s real. Life is wonderful. It’s a gift to be alive, to see the sun and breathe the air. And there isn’t really anything else." - Jack Thorne, Jurassic Park: The Lost World (via my-stereo-heart-beats-for-you)
